A day dedicated to literature, comics and illustration

Following the success of its first edition, the Herbeumont Book Fair is back for a second edition that promises to be particularly rich and diverse. The event will take place on Sunday, September 6, at the Salle du Vivy in Herbeumont, for a full day dedicated to lovers of books and literary creativity.

Organised in collaboration with the Service du Livre Luxembourgeois, this second edition will bring together around forty authors, mainly from the Province of Luxembourg and the surrounding areas. They will be there to present their books, meet and chat with the public, and share their passion for writing.

Novels, thrillers, poetry, stories, historical works, personal development and children's literature: there will be something for everyone, with a wide variety of genres offering visitors plenty of opportunities to discover something new.

This year, the Book Fair is expanding its scope and will also give a prominent place to the world of visual storytelling, with an entire floor dedicated to comics and illustration, organised in collaboration with the Oxygène bookshop.

For this second edition, the event will also welcome a very special guest: Jean-Claude Servais, an iconic figure in Belgian comics and a renowned artist from the Gaume region, will honour us with his presence for a book-signing session.

A wonderful opportunity for visitors to meet this emblematic author and leave with a signed copy of one of his books.

Visitors will be able to discover the different worlds created by the participating authors and explore their recently published works.

The Bibliobus will also be present throughout the day, complementing the literary programme and offering visitors another way to discover the world of books and reading.

Beyond meeting authors and artists, the Herbeumont Book Fair aims above all to be a friendly, family-oriented and accessible event for everyone. It is an opportunity to discover new books, exchange directly with their creators and, perhaps, find some inspiration for your autumn reading.
